I became a lawyer because I faced my own challenges as a young adult and I learned that nearly everyone, at some point in their life, will need grace, understanding and mercy, if they are going to reach their ultimate goals in life.
I want to keep this section brief because I am not in business for my own personal benefit, but I am here for you. However, if you are interested in learning a little about me, before you meet me for the first time, this section is to satisfy your curiosity.
I moved to Louisiana from Texas, where I graduated from High School in the Houston area, to attend Southeastern Louisiana University. Both my parents were originally from Louisiana (my mother was born and raised in New Orleans and my dad grew up in Washington Parish) and during my formative years, I had spent a lot of time in either New Orleans or Washington Parish.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I enrolled in law school at LSU, where I received my Juris Doctorate and Bachelor in Civil Law in 2008. Although, becoming a criminal defense attorney was my ultimate goal, being in private practice forced me to spend several years engaging in a more general practice, until I was comfortable focusing my practice exclusively in defending individuals who are charged with criminal offenses.
I became a lawyer because I faced my own challenges as a young adult and I learned that nearly everyone, at some point in their life, will need grace, understanding and mercy, if they are going to reach their ultimate goals in life. I took my desire to serve those in need and translated that motivation into my current profession.
